Webster’s Dictionary: Hindsight is the ability to understand and realize something about an event after it has happened, although you did not understand or realize it at the time.
And that is exactly how we should treat last year. No matter what happened, take a deep breath and move forward. Hindsight gives us valuable lessons on how we handle life. The year 2020 was 365 days of learning and putting up with events that did not necessarily fit into our 2020 plan.
Understand what brings you happiness both at work and at home. Make a list of all the things you have versus all the things you don’t have. Choose your friends carefully. If anyone is trying to undermine you or bring you down, consider if that is the way you want to spend your energy.
For me personally, I choose not to have negative people in my life. These are choices we make. And just remember The TLC. You can take it. You can leave it. Or you can choose to change it. So, what’s your plan? When you get stuck in a rut, or when others are there with you, the TLC will help you change the outcome.
Here’s to a happy, healthy, and successful 2021. Surround yourself with supportive people and always remember what you do have vs. what you don’t have or what you want.
