Marsha Petrie
Sue to be recognized at wine dinner June 14
PHOENIX
– May 30, 2007
– Morton’s The
Steakhouse and the American Red Cross announce the selection of the Valley
winner in the nationwide “Women of Spirit” campaign. Marsha Petrie Sue,
a renowned public speaker, award-winning author and community leader will
be recognized during a wine dinner at Morton’s in Scottsdale on June 14,
2007.
Morton’s The Steakhouse partnered with the American Red Cross and the
nation’s leading female winemakers and industry pioneers to recognize
women in 38 markets across the country, with a final “all-star” gala event
honoring America’s “Women of Spirit” to be held in Washington, DC in
September. Local residents were asked to nominate a woman in the community
who has demonstrated an exceptional commitment to volunteerism and
service—women who reflect similar values and principles to the mission of
the American Red Cross.
“We are thrilled to be taking part in this campaign and to have the
opportunity to recognize one of the great female leaders in our
community,” said Sylvanna Holt, Sales & Marketing Manager for Morton's
The Steakhouse. “There were numerous well-qualified women to choose
from, but Marsha stood out because both her professional and volunteer
work are dedicated to enriching the lives of others.”
